Looking Up
There are some very interesting things going on in our sky right now. Comets ElEnin (C/2010×1) and Levy (P2006 T1) along with Asteroid (2005 YU55) are causing a stir for sure. Asteroid (2005 YU55) will be its closest (200,000 miles from earth) November 3-13, 2011 (closest on November 8 at 07:13 UT, very close!). FEMA, FCC Announce Nationwide Test of the Emergency Alert System on November 9, 2011. This test is being done at the same time that there may the possibility of an actual global emergency. I’m not an expert but, this seems like bad (or good, depending on perspective) timing. Asteroid (2005 YU55) will be very close on November 8. Then on November 1, 2011 we will be entering into the tail of ElEnin experiencing possible comet tail debris. Then, following us very close behind until about January 29, 2012 we will have the comet known as Levy following above us at a greater rate of speed than our Earth orbits the sun. Comet 45P/Honda–Mrkos–Pajdušáková is also in the mix having just passed us by on August 15, 2011. Not to mention other recent close calls with asteroids! Wow, talk about a sky show. So to sum it all up, for the next few months, there will be much more sky activity than we have been accustom to viewing, so don’t forget to look up!
Conspiracy Being Discussed
We’ve all heard of planet X, Brown dwarf stars, Nibrue, and Wormwood in mythology. These entering comet and asteroid like objects are thought of by some, to be the return of one of these mentioned above in accordance to ones beliefs. Also, it is thought of by some, that there is a small possibility of a collision accruing due to the uncertainty of trajectories factoring in the amount of variables involved in the gravitational fields of all the bodies in the mix. There is no way for the average person to know what is really going to happen until it happens.
What NASA Has To Say
As far as an official report, NASA space scientist David Morrison has reported on multiple occasions, that this is simply comets and asteroids and will pass at a safe distance from the Earth. Then released a semi-contradictive video to NASA employees on and off planet, instructing them on how to prepare and respond in an event that it would be necessary (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyKopmPV0PQ). Know how to properly respond in an event of any type of outside threats.

Given any margin of error in this situation and we could have a much closer encounter than we would prefer.
